Dont Flatter Yourself!!!

In their own eyes they flatter themselves too much to detect or hate their sin. 

(Psalm 36:2 NIV) 

The saying "don't flatter yourself" makes total sense in light of this verse. Sometimes we just believe our own nonsense to the point that we don't know what's what in our own lives! Isn't that crazy? We're so busy hearing our own words that we can't hear Gods!

We should all say this to ourselves today... 

Don't flatter yourself! 

We should all pray this today... 

Lord help me to see myself as I truly am so that I may detect and hate the sin in my life!
